SC Trip

I'm looking to plan a trip to SC in late April, early May. I'm trying to find a place that is good for both golf and fishing, preferably from the surf. Any suggestions?

I went to Hilton Head last year and was not too happy about the fishing from the surf and would like to avoid that same mistake.

The trip will be a guys trip - no kids and nightlife isn't all that important.

Golf anywhere along the SC coast is generally fantastic....Mrytle Beach, Charleston, Hilton Head, Kiawai Island, or other resort islands. The inshore fishing can be great with access to a boat or chartering a guide....especially at Charleston. From shore, fishing opportunities are rather limited. Anywhere you have access to an inlet is probably your best chance at shore based fishing.
