.....Stick around Hatteras/OBX through February?

With all of the strong reports coming from OBX right now I was wondering if they will stay in that area through February.....to plan a "business trip" of course.

Thank you for your insight.

There should be fish here through February. On the northern beaches it becomes mostly a boat thing except for the occasional random blitz at that time of year. You might be able to catch some soaking bait around the hatteras area. Alot will depend on the water temps and the weather you get when you are here.

For all practical purposes, Cape Hatteras is the southern extent of the striper's range. So they'll be in the OBX area all winter. But the fishing can be mighty slow in Feb.
