Me and the guys will be down the last week in Oct for surf fishing.We broke up the week with a trip on Rascal Charters with Capt Norm Miller.Can any of you guys tell me anything about them? Thanks

I have not fished with him personally but he is the best red drum guide on the outer banks. He has been fishing out of ocracoke for many years and at that time of the year I am guessing you will be fishing the inlet shoals. There was an article in saltwater sportsman a few months ago that featured him if you can get a hold of it. Good choice.

I've fished with him and completely agree with savish. If you want to catch big drum, he is your man. I'm going to be down that way next week and am hoping to charter him for a day.

Plugchucker,I fished with him many yrs ago on a few spring trips,we caught 18 on one of the trips up to 51 fork length.. I have freinds that have fished for him on or near the dates you are talking and they caught over 70 bigguns on one trip!! You could be in the shoals,sightcasting,or wreckfishing,depends on conditions. I agree with previous post the man is good and will put you on some big redones..
