Fished OBX last week 5/30 to 6/4. Outstanding spot fishing with keeper trout, blues and croaker mixed in on a moving tide from the Bonner Bridge. Bloodworms and shrimp for the spot cut bait for trout and blues. Spanish and blues early a.m. at the point. On clear water days cobia action was good north of the point (as reported when I was not there). Offshore the action ranged from excellent to poor on yellowfin tuna. My day offshore was very slow, but we did get two tuna kite fishing. Hatteras inlet (false point)was not accessable.

If you have the patience and don't mind a crowd you will eventually be rewarded with good fishing at the point.
