Biefs, there are at least a couple of ways.. The "oletimey" way, that I used to use:Use ordinary wooden clothes pin make holes in ends where you press it down to open, insert wire, make loope wide enough for clothspin to open and close, haybail wire to form loope, insert egg sinker whichever size you want up to that haybail, then use the "running end you left to haybail swivel to slide down the line.Attach clothspin to either your running line off the "fighting rod" or to the swivel of your leader. You may attach rubber band to closing end of clothspin for extra tension..
Clip rig: Take wire, experiment with the size you will need, cut about a six inch piece, side snapswivel to the middle of wire, form loope, slide the two tag ends of the wire through an eggsinker as well as a bead after the sinker, you should have a swivel at top, loop with eggsinker and bead below with two flared ends of wire at the bottom, bend the flared ends so they stick out. To use:attach the swivel for your livebait leader(leader being at least 6 or so ft to give the proper drop to the water)thru the two "flared ends of wire attach snapswivel on clip rig to the anchor rod.. The flared ends act as tension, when the fish hits the swivel on the fighting rod will pop loose from the anchor rod, poping out of the two flared ends of wire..
Now I see why noone has answered so far.. It's kinda hard to explain without being there to show ya....
