...just talked to a friend that lives in avon (bonito road..same street as "the froggy dog")...they were allowed to return home sunday but decided to wait until yesterday to avoid the "rush".
...their place was in good shape...no damage and the food in fridge and freezer was still good. ...this was quite a relief to them considering that they had to evacuate to edenton and then to raleigh before coming home...a long ordeal, but all turned-out well. ...they said that avon in general was not badly effected.
