I wasn't able to go this past weekend, but the rest of my gang went. Here's their report:
3 spanish 2 decent blue 12+ small blues 10+- sand bar sharks 4-5ft tiny tiny sting ray I also hooked and released 2 sea gulls (no comments please) Jamie and Ron both caught rays with 7 foot + wing spans, biggest I've ever seen- 20+ min fights. Jamie, Ron, and I all hooked into some huge sharks that made a run for it and rubbed the leader off or bit it, 80lb test. Big Boys stayed at the point. that is where it was happening. Nothing much else. Clear water, and more glass minnows than you can shake a stick at. |
