Bill H. White
RODANTHE -- Bill H. White, 82, died July 22, 2002, at his residence.

Mr. White was born in Frankfort, Ind., and lived most of his life in Zanesville, Ohio. He was president of Hatteras Jack Inc., and was a veteran, having served in the Armed Guard during World War II with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the La Fayette, Ohio, Masonic Lodge, the Aladdin Shrine Temple and the Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite of Cambridge, Ohio. He was the son of the late E.O. ``Jack'' White and the late Sarah Herr Weaver, and was also predeceased by a son, Michael White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rosemary Leasure White of the residence; a sister, Beverlie Richards of Zanesville, Ohio; three brothers, Willard White of Warren, Pa., Warren White of Ekalaka, Mont., and Jack White of La Jolla, Calif.; two grandsons, Ryan White of Rodanthe and Brandon White of Kill Devil Hills.

Memorial services will be held in Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of one's choice. Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, is handling arrangements.
