SQUAT!!

that's my report for our short trip to the obx.........
the company was great

the weather wasn't worth complaining about

the fishing was so so
the catching ........SQUAT!!!
all in all a good few days , saw some old friends, met some new ....,bought some more tackle

Derf, sorry to hear of the squat........I sat it out based on the fact it had the look of squat....and added to my already overwhelming pile of squat.......lol

I am rolling north now, first trip was this past weekend. They are there

I'm thinking of heading back Thu.-Sun. Looking for spanish, cobia and scouting kayak holes in the sound.

Hi Derf,
Nice to meet you. Last saw you busy with that big ray. After I dropped off your bait I headed south around the hook. Got a 53 lb Cobe that afternoon. What a blast. Rest of the week was SLOW!

Joel saved me from being beat to death ...
talked to tres & he said he hooked 1 latter on in the week . he said he had to take that poor rod home for a rest after that !!!

Leaving the 29th for a whole week with the family. Got a nice Cobia last year at points north on July 1st (late for Cobia season)and hope to fish same hole thsi year.
