Hi Folks,
Hey I was just wondering when is the best time to fish the manteo area for Stripers & Blues? My Dad lives in Pirates Cove and I would love to take him out for some action. I fish the RI water's by boat, but have never fished your area.... ------------------ Fish a Scout 202SF out of Point Judith, RI |

Blues are pretty hit and miss anymore. The bass start to shwo good id novemeber and stay around until the waters temsp get too cold. If you have a boat, tossing eels in the shoals at OI is very productive.

John M, I'm comming down from NJ to the Manteo area for the first week of July. I don't have access to a boat. Any suggestions for areas to fish. I will have 4x4 capabilities. Also, are there any good local tackle shops to get feedback from. Thanks for you help.
