Was there this past weekend...lots of the regulars were there and the Cobia were not to be found...at least for the surf casting crowd. Boaters at the inlet got them, but water was off color in the hook area. I had 3 solid hook-ups, big sharks or maybe Cobia...lost all of them...disappointing!

Still big Drum around as some brutes were taken...

Can not make it this weekend, but good luck to all that go...

plan to be there LATE fri. through 5/6 PM sunday... green dodge ram w/ campertop & possibly a kayak on top...

looks like a wave of energy is now predicted to develop along the front passing through -- kicking up the N/NE winds a fair amount on Sat. -- what effect will this have on the Cobia fishing?

North wind or even NW is good for Cobia since they like the hook area to be flat and calm but the water needs to be clear. A strong SW is not good for Cobia in the Hook. Think good ray water and you're thinking good Cobia water.
