Fished Cape Point/South Beach 6/1 - 6/2.

Saturday: one 38" drum just before dark -- pods of fatback had been swept into the point by the increasing SW wind and currents late in the afternoon, bringing drum of various sizes into the point area.

Sun. fished until 5:30 or so -- water was dirtieruntil mid afternoon, even on the south beach -- still had not fully cleared up when I had left. caught one spanish and several taylors on stingsilvers on the south side of the point -- had to fish hard for them...

current was VERY strong Sun. -- nearly impossible to hold bottom on the South beach.

other than the somewhat ominous looking lightning show/brief outburst of very high WSW winds Saturday evening, weather was very nice. hopefully next weekend will bring lighter winds and clearer water...hoping to take the kayak out...
