I'm heading to the Outer Banks (Duck) the second week in July. Does anyone flyfish during this time and if so where? Also, what could I expect to catch there during this time. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

Cool

hi steelhead & welcome to the board
we used to stay at duck , but migrated to the south for better fishing .
as far as flyfishing don't really have a concrete answer for you but you could try around the coralla light on the sound side . the ocean is wide open ; the only drive on access is all the way to the north , the rest is walk over . hopefully some one else with flyfishing experience will chime in with more info than i have .also check with the tackle shops up there when you arrive , hopefully they can point you in the right direction

Thanks for the info and the warm welcome Derf. I'll do some asking around when I get down there.

Check out outerbanksflyfishing.com Brian and Sarah both fish out of Oregon Inlet and should be able to answer any questions.
