I'm a Jersey boy needing advice!

I'm going to be down on Kiawah Island (near Charleston) over the week after Memorial Day. Can any of you guys give me a heads up on what tackle I should bring with me? What are they catchin' and what are they usin'??

can't really tell you a lot about that area. i have fished near charleston and down at edistow island without much success. i caught some sailfinned catfish in charleston and snagged bunker at edistow. i thought there should be some spanish about, but failed to see or catch any.

i was using a 10' light rod and tossing 2oz stingsilvers. i would imagine that there would be some pompano and other small species that could be caught using cut bait, but i was traveling light. sorry i couldn't be of any more help.
