since there is no SC board here figured i'd post at the next closest
Arrived at the pier about 12pm today and fished up untill 6pm. decided to try some shrimp which despite the howling wind worked great! caught my first whiteing which was around 16-17" caught a total of 2 whiteing and quite a few small blues. Hooked something on the small rod (6lbs test) which i had no chance of getting in. Not sure what it was but it didn't hit or fight like a skate or stingray.
all in all it was a great day at the beach!!
