Does anyone have any information on Sea Hunt Center Console boats. I just recently lookked at a 21 ft Sea Hunt and I realy liked it, however, I was told that they are popular in North Carolina ( I live in New York).
Any info would be really helpful tks Nick |

I bought a used 2001 20' in May and have put over 30 hrs on it, have gone to BI 3 times. The runs back have been with the typical 2-3' beam seas in the afternoon sea breeze, which it handles just fine. I checked fuel use with a 2-stroke J130. For a round trip from the Charlestown Breachway to the north rip, around the south shore on the ack side, to SW Ledge, then back home it used 13 gallons. My friend, who paid the gas for that trip, couldn't believe it, nor could I.
The T-top is great to have. There's plenty of room for electronics. The only thing I don't like its that the battery and oil reservoir are located under the floor. Having the battery under the waterline makes me nervous. I'm thinking of going to dual batteries and installing them inside the console next winter. I'd also like some more storage space and a good spot to fillet. Go for it. |

I can't testify to anything technical but a new friend just took my brother and I fishing in his Sea Hunt 21 foot center console a couple of weeks ago out of Bass River/Yarmouth. He said that he has owned the vessel for four years and loves it. My brother and I are large men. The three of us spent 8 hours comfortably fishing for stripers, seabass, scup and fluke. I think he said his boat is about 12 years old. He's got a 115 HP Yamaha on it. FYI big jim (AKA JimiDaBeachBumm) "Life's a beach!"
