Thumbs up

This is it! The beginning of the Spring Drum Season on the Outer Banks. A few fish have started to show. It seems like every day there is 1-4 being caught at O-coke and a couple of small runs have already occurred at Da Point (10 Fri (or Sat?) Evening). For the next four weeks, fish the south end of O-Coke. For the four weeks after that, fish Da Point. When the conditions are right (SW winds) the fishing should be fantastic. At any other time, with the concentrated schools that are out there and very normal for the Spring, a school could move through causing a fantastic bite.

I'll be fishing O-coke 3/29 to 4/1. Hope to see many of you there.

Hey Mudd,
Yep, finally found this site a few weeks ago. Guess I had the same problem some folks do, the S.

We're really looking forward to this trip. The timing is looking good for once. Would like to see the water a little warmer. I'll be there 8 or 9 days and would expect to have a SW wind sometime during the week.

I'll give ya a ring Friday or Saturday to find you. If not, see ya there.

Hey Allen,
We're all doing fine. The wife will be with me in HI for 3 or 4 days. Too bad she won't be fishing. Caught a couple more Stripers up to 28" the day after I talked to you. Sure was nice getting fish rather then skate.

Well, take care and I'll be seeing you on the beaches of DE.

Denny
