RED DRUM TOURNEY

My fishing bud SteveM and I will be heading to Hatteras on 20th till the 28th to watch the casting tourney on Sunday (will miss the individuals on Sat) and will be staying in Avon for the week. We are going to fish Frank&Frans Red Drum Tourney the following weekend. Seems like yesterday it was months away and here it is 2 weeks away.
Anyone else going to be down during that time. Would like to meet some of ya. I have plans to meet Kip for an exchange of a rod, other than that, who else will be down?

I'll be there as well...I'll be in Wed. night- Fishing Thu.-Sun. I doubt I'll fish the tourney, but will probably still fish the N. beaches atleast a night or two..especially if they do fish up that way.

Derf, I will be there, but I wont be fishin the tourney. I will fish where the fish are, I dont like being limited. Chances are though i will be on north beach some with that b. Myers character......we will be the ones sleepping while wormy catches em up

I'll see you saturday night (10/13), probably between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m. Leave your cell phone on and get intouch with you as to where you are, planks, point, inlet, etc.

Since B ain't coming, we usually have pretty good luck, although wormy usually carries the golden horseshoe.

I've even been up throwing plastic fish imitations for bass in NE parts of the country this year. What's Tim say...OPF?

Have done Block and the Cape...so I've been more than soaking fish parts....lol
