i've got the two weeks following x-mas off from work, and i'm trying to convince the lil' lady that another trip to hatteras is a good idea. any input as far as what to expect on the weather front?

Scoop, thats the timeof year I usually head down to Hatteras, the weather is very unpredictable. I remember one day was beautiful, sunny, about 60 degrees, next day was like 40 degrees, windy and rainy as you can get, and the night was absoloutely perfect. Just be prepeared for anything.

Ismail is right.......one day 75 sunny the next its 45 and windy.

LAst decemebr was COLD COLD COLD. 2 years ago it was short sleeves. So be prepared for anythign........

again is varies, the water temps crashed last year and fishing was basically over in early decemeber. 2 years ago it was it was abotu 60 and we had bass drum and trout most of the winter.
