Well Derf I did but it dotn count......We fished on drumdum's boat and I got one that went 27# on my handscale.....for me cobia season was a total bust maybe next year.....I might be able to rally one more trip this weekend, but Iam wore out from being down there........

Brian got another one last night, 47 inches released.......thats 2 for him.......1 monster for jeff, 1 monster lost inthe wash for Joel, Tres got a little one, and Iam bringing up the rear with the gaff inone hand and fillet knife in the other.....after all I gaff em and clean em at least they let me hang out with them... LOL

Here Is Wormy's Fish...way to go buddy, (btw i gaffed it and helped clean it as usual) LOL

this is why I go

JohnM, you put enough time in on the island, so when you do catch that cobia, you will cherish it that much more. I wont see Hateras till Oct. I am hoping to fish the Red Drum tourney this year.

Banzai......here we go again......one last kamakazi trip for one last swing at them I think I can rally the energy up for one last push........gonna pull all the stops out this weekend

Brina, congrats on the cobia, you are the King. Yes I had the drum you had the cobia........

Allen this is my last trip till fall...... of course spending 11 days in hatteras in June alone is pretty sick, I dont recomend it to any but the mentally unbalanced like myself......

In closing, I am really tired of Driving on Rt 13, I need a helicopter or somethign......

We are all not worthy! Brian is the cobia king!
Thanks for posting the picture Meat!
You dont need a cobia, you were there for the biggest drum blitz of the decade! Some people are just never happy!

You keep putting in the time and you will get your cobia next season, NO DOUBT! I wish the weather would have been more coorperative this past weekend.....I just hope you dont hook up at the same time as me cause who would I have to gaff my fish??

Later'
