Ocracoke in May

I'm going to be on Ocracoke May 13-20 with the family...what's happening there at that time of the year? I'm presently set up for flying and plugging. Must one sling bait? Any input is appreciated.

We had Pups real good on the south end last year. Bait or gold hopkins were the ticket........there shoudl be some small blues around as well as the smaller inshore fishes like sea mullet blow toads etc........
