Anyone!

Fishing in April is usually outstanding on Stellwagon Bank. Just wondering... Whats the fastest, easiest way to harvest the cheeks form Codfish heads. I don't wan't to annoy the mate so I gotta do it fast!

I was thinking of using a "Melon Baller" Thingy to scoop em out... Whatcha' think? Any ideas?

Preffesa, I dont think a Melon baller will work because you need to get though the skin and scales. A baller isnt sharp enough to do that. Your better off with a good sharp small peeler type knife to do that. A normal fillet knife is is a little big and can get clumsy, if you get my drift.

QUick and easy to do it and they mates will not mind is to make a half-moon cut at the rear of the cheek, pull out flap, grab the knuckle of meat with your fingers, and just pull out. Its quick and easy.
