I've got it in front of me and I like it.

It is very much like a series of journal entries from writers/fisherman fitting into one of 4 or 5 topics, with excellent supporting photography.

I went for the full subscription and even though I've only read about half, I'm already looking forward to the next issue.

I just got my first issue in the mail today. I've only browsed the pictures so far, but it looks great. Right now, The Drake is the only fishing mag I subscribe to, but I think I'll be picking up a subscription - let's hope they can make it for the long haul.

OK for you guys, but for us over the other side of the pond at $90 for 4 issues it is the most expensive magazine in the whole wide world....Think the UK fraternity will give this one a miss

I’m interested. I am used to reading Archaeology and Anthropology Journals and I enjoy their style, I’ve been looking for something in the same vein for fishing. I am sick to death of the EXTREME FLY FISHING Magazines and reading the thousandth article on which leader to line connection is the best, so maybe this will be the outlier.

Anyone know if it is available in Georgia?

Thanks very much, that really is most kind of you, but a friend, will be able to pick one up in a week or so from the "Posh ' tackle shops in London, who have many of your Fishing mags on sale...The only let down is sometimes they are not available until a month or more after publication.

Having said that, I subscribe to Fly Fishing in Saltwaters, and that normally takes around 4 weeks from publication to reach me anyway, so the delay is no great problem.

Thank you once again that really is a kind gesture.

No problem....At just under $10 an issue here I was hesitant but decided at $1.25 a week between issues I'll just make my coffee at home a couple days a week and that will cover it .
