Default What kind of fish is this?

I got this fish the other day. The lame camera in my phone and the movement of the fish made this picture look wacky. Anyone want to guess what kind of fish it is? First one to get it right gets the highly coveted Boris Chechev Award of Excellence.

Hickory shad? Or at least some sort of shad...

I thought for sure this was gonna be a white perch.

The examples you posted are juveniles. Look nothing like the adults. Bad examples.

Thanks for the info. I can't really find many pictures of a Hickory Shad. This is another I've found...

This is roughly what the fish looked like. But, like I wrote, the picture I took came out wacky.

I am no rocket scientist but the picture is probably from 07. It isn't the same fish.

I agree with you because it was reintroduced into the colorado river last year. It is considered an indangered species in these waters.
