2005 F350 crew cab diesel. I reprogramed it at about 15,000 miles and have been happy with it. Empty on the highway illl routinely see 19-19.5 With the camper it all depends on the wind. I can get anywehre from 11-14.5 with the camper on. I track every gallon of fuel I put in the truck, the reprogramer paid itself off (450$) in about 11 months.

I didnt chip my old 2000 250 and alwasy regreted it. So when I bought the new one I was warranty be damed and did it anyway.

Do you think you picked up the extra mpg just from the reprogramming or do you think the pipe change helped?

I also keep real close track of my mpgs and know I could make the money back on the reprogramming if it all came from that.

I had a 96 F250 w/ a 460 cu and chipped that. BIG difference in pulling and also fuel. Picked up more mpgs when I got rid of the muffler and ran a 3" straight pipe with just a catalytic converter.

I didnt change the exhaust until 45k or so....I saw the increase right away. like the next tank with the reprogrammer.
