Thanks to Corzine we no longer get the property tax rebate and can only write off half of our property tax this year.

Christi says he will return that rebate, but I would rather see ending the rebate "dangling carrot" program for a 15% reduction across the board.

Heard Christie has a healthcare plan.

Supposedly wasnt going to release any of it unless he won.

Hopefully its true and it comes out quick, time is almost about to run out.

When is Obama supposed to sign the bill (at least whats the time table as of today)?

No you stupid jackass. Ive said a million times I havent voted a major party candidate for prez in my life.

Its called I support our leaders. Its called our country is in the ******* and I want it to get better.

Im not some hardcore partisian hack that rather see us fail just so your stupid party can be the ones to do it.

I have very little faith in a D or R, but I will support them and hope who ever they are fixes the damage we already had done.

Bunch of anti american pricks that only cae about some party BS bragging rights

I would have been fine with Corzines tax increases if he cut spending at the same time.

He was handed a bad state, Ill give him that. I can understand upping the taxes, especially then when times were good to pay off the previous mess. But then the jerk increases spending .

Now I know it wasnt all his fault. Remember the sales tax increase? Who made him use 1/2 of that revenue to help property tax rebates or something of the sort?

Raise one tax to cut another?

Its going to be tough, but i think the people are fed up. I know Im ****ing fed up. Make everything as public as possible, give us the names of those that road block what needs to be done.

[quote=metaliczombi;6551269. Any crime from a misdemeanor to a felony, your pension should be gone, completely.[/quote]

The criminal justice system metes out punishment for public officials convicted of crimes. Convicted officials would be dealt with adminstratively by the public organization in which they have a position or hold office.

If pension revocation, total or partial, were one of the penalties a convicted public official could be subjected to, complete pension revocation would be too disproportionate a penalty in the vast majority of cases.

Usually convicted officials keep their pensions. Sometimes they are sentenced to jail, for more serious crimes they are sentenced to prison.
Some pay fines, others pay restitution.

Christie wins!!!!!!
Hope he turns out to be less of a steaming pile than Corzine was.

Now for the next step.

In the following elections take a VERY close look at all your representatives.

UNLESS you can honestly look at their record and say they have truly PROVEN themselves to GIVE A CRAP........ VOTE THEM OUT TOO!!!!!

In my book they can ALL hit the road with the possible exception of CHRIS SMITH.
He is the one polititian that I can honestly say has actually made me feel as though he MAY be working for the people.

PAY ATTENTION ALL YOU LIBS IN OFFICE...... get your resumes ready!!!

Good Morning America

Dave

I'm a Dem who voted for Christie. I expect little or no change. Just had to get rid of Corzine.

Kean, Florio, Whitman, McGreevy/Corzine, Christie.

Anyone see a pattern?
