Looking for something 15-20 foot range. Very durable and could take offshore. Using it for fishing. What is good for me?

without knowing several things, that's a very difficult question to answer. What will you primarily use it for? Pure fishing, fishing with family (some of whom don't fish), for far offshore? how many people? What kind of money do you have, do you intend to overnight in it, what do you have or intend to have to tow it, or do you intend to keep in a slip, would you prefer outboard, inboard, diesel?
Lots to answer before you can decide.

wont be taking it too offshore most would be stellwagen bank from Marblehead. Pure fishing is what I would use it for. No price range as I would like to get it for under $12,000 used.

Might be out of your price range but here is Steve Moore from slamdance's boat for sale. I know that boat has seen all of stellwagen. Give him a call and see what he will let it go for:
