  1. Yea I read it all. Was hoping there might be a temporary night permit sold during the summer months.
  2. Does this pass give you 4x4 access on montauk? And can it be purchased by an out of stater?
  3. Does anyone know if a 4x4 fishing permit can be purchased outside of the dates listed on the New York State parks website? (January 1- April 30, September 5- December 31) I have a trip planned in July and didn't realize a permit was required to park in the lots. Just wondering if temporary permits are sold. Thanks
  4. Figured this might be a good spot to ask this question. I planned a trip to montauk in the winter without ever going there and didn't really realize what I was getting into. One night of my trip out there will be spent with a fishing guide but I was planning on staying out there for a few days and doing some fishing on my own. Now it seems I needed to buy a 4x4 fishing permit to have access to beaches and parking lots in between January 1 and April 30. Does anyone know if own if you can buy a temporary one for a few days in the middle of the summer? Thanks
  5. Saw all the boats in the right places. Tough getting to where they were not knowing where to look for access but word of mouth and some windshield time helps a lot. Good luck!
  6. Thank you for your replies gentmen. I finally got into a bite. Pretty hard to find but they are here. It was a blast to catch em in February!
  7. Are the fish really gone?? I've heard a few different things. Just got down here for work and was looking to get into some fish. Have gone three times. Once just before low tide and two other times right around dead high just to get out there. Haven't had any luck using a silver swim bait with a jig head.
