  2. Hey guys, Anybody got a Redington CPS 7wt in good condition laying around that they want to sell. I'm not after a CPX thanks, only a CPS. Cheers Darren
  3. Congrats Orca Cheers Darren ( No. 4 )
  4. Thanks 2fish, look forward to seeing what everyone came up with Cheers Darren
  5. Hi Gilbey, When you recieve all the flies, will you be putting up some photos for us to see what they all came out like . Cheers Darren
  6. I'm in, this should be a bit of fun. Cheers Darren
  7. Hey Javi, Cool looking fish mate, I am jealous of the fish you catch and your flies are just brilliant aswell, you make even a simple candy look great. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Darren
  8. Thanks mate, I have about 10 different coloured sheet of cardboard behind there to choose from so I can choose any colour to get the effect I'm after. Bending the card does give good depth perception too. Cheers Darren
  9. Hi Kelkay The guys are right mate it is just 2 desk lamps on the side and one on the top. They all have 20 watt Cool Daylight globes in them and the box is made of Foam sandwiched cardboard. You can also place translucent waxed paper in front of the lamps to soften the light if needed aswell. It works well. Cheers Darren
  10. Here's what I use mate, if it's any help to you it's very basic and easy to make. The picture is self explanatory. The picture of the Size 12 fly is only taken with a point and shoot camera and still gives reasonable results. Hope this helps. Cheers Darren
  11. Thanks Boldfin, I'm still waiting for mine to get made so it shouldn't be too much longer. Let me know how you get on and how it performs for you on the weekend. Cheers Darren
  12. Hi BrianBM, The Mulloway or Jewfish is in the same family as you White Sea Bass (Scinaenidae --Croaker). The Mulloway is found in Australia, South Africa and Madagascar and the species name is Agroyrosomus Japonicus ( formerly Hololepidotus) Your White Sea Bass or Weakfish is Scinaenidae Atractoscion Nobilis I'm lead to believe. They are very similar in where they are found and in size they grow too. The Mulloway was named Jewfish because of the Otoliths (or jewels) that are found at the base of their skull and this was shortened to Jewie instead of Jewel fish as Australians are known to do, some states here still call them Jewies but we in the south call them Mulloway just to be different . Hairy Nosed Wombat is over stating my prowess with my Mulloway captures but they are quite a challenge down here to catch on fly and I am having quite good success with a prawn fly I came up with and I am thouroughly enjoying the challenge too. I am still to catch a 20 or 30lb Mulloway yet but I have been done in by a couple just recently so that keeps me going back. I hope this answers a couple of your questions and Hairy Nosed Wombat thankyou for your comments. Here's a couple more from earlier in the year. Cheers Darren
  13. Will do mate. Here's one from last weekend with the CPS 7wt and the Tibor. Took this one from around some very ugly structure. Cheers Darren
  14. G'day Flytyingguy1, I already have a Moss Green Tibor Everglades, it even has a little bonefish engraving on it too but I was looking to buy somehing a little bit different. This is where the Abel bonefish caught my eye. I love my Tibor an it's never let me down but as they say, a man can never have enough toys . I did very well on the price of the Abel from the U.S. and compared with what they cost us in Australia, I did excepetionally well on the price. Thanks for your input . Cheers Darren
