  9. Lots of stuff here - as shown in the pictures Flies are crab pot (4) clouser (7) deceiver (2) nitro deceiver (5) snooker (5) polar fiber blue (4) zonker black ( 5) alf minnow (6) deceiver blue white (4) & chartreuse sand eel (6). I think a good working selection of flies, and enough to last a few years of fishing. This stuff adds up - close to $175 all new - for $70 + shipping a super deal... No offers or requests to split pls.
  10. A moderately priced rod by some standards - but I think a sleeper. It's beauty lies in how effortlessly it casts, providing you don't overpower it, for hours of fishing. A few years old but as the pictures show in excellent condition. Comes with a Cabela RLST reel and Rio intermediate line. For a starter rod or spare - non better. Priced out around $450 all new - for $165 + shipping - a super deal. No offers....
  11. 3 new - 6" floaters. Black/purple, blue mackerel, & sand eel $20 + shipping
  12. 1 red - 26"; 2 pink 16": 1 red 16"; 1 black 16"; 1 spinner rig; 2 keel weights $20 + shipping
  13. Some years ago I had a shoulder problem that limited arm movement, and had to temporarily give up fly fishing. So I looked for a spin rod that came closest to a fly rod - and came up with a St Croix Avid 9' - med heavy power and fast action. A very light rod, rated for 3/8 to 1 1/4 oz lures - I like it best on 3/4 oz or less. The sweetest rod I've ever owned - perfect for estuary fishing - it casts effortlessly. With braid, sharp hooks & crimped barbs - hook set is not a problem. This post got me looking around to see if it's still available - which it's not - and I'm doubly glad to have it in my collection...
  14. It is mechanically sound....let me know when you can pick it up
  15. Boxing this for shipping would be time consuming & expensive even before shipping costs . I'd be asking more for the package to begin with were I to do that.
  16. OK. Big fish are in on the beach and a bump here for a price of $100. Any less than this I'd be giving it away free... pick up in Portsmouth NH
  17. Not to rush into your weekend - but newbie can meet me in Seabrook around 7:00 to pick up the rod Mon Tues or Wed next week. Pick a day - can you be there?

  18. What's your address/zip for shipping?

  19. Marty - sorry but I hadn't considered shipping this to the west coast - just figured someone from Long Island or Mass  would buy it. UPS is telling me it will cost $18 or so to ship - and for something I originally hoped to sell locally - I'll be making $28 after wrapping & mailing. Not enough to make it worth my while.
