  5. the El Jobeen fishing pier was good for some sheepshead, and some of those little canals had some mangrove snappers in them.
  6. Probably in the August time frame. We'll be pretty busy fishing here until then.

  8. Yup, I shift to electric at the 200 ft level. Those snowy grouper and tiles like 500-750 ft, and like you said I'm getting up there.
  9. My brother and I got out for a few hours last week. No stripers, but lots of other stuff to play with. 75 degrees, one foot seas and non-stop action.
  10. Merry Christmas ti all my RI friends
  11. Save a bar stool for me please. Steve
  12. Fairly good, but no stripers. Had to settle for these southern fishes like snappers, groupers, tuna, amber jacks, etc. Didn't get out as often as I used to,- old age is setting in, and the bigger fish take a lot out of me. Last Sunday I fished with two of my brothers, and we caught a limit of Mingo Snappers, a couple groupers, and towards the end of the day, I put a mingo back down as bait, and spent the nest half hour or so landing a amber jack that nearly did me in. Here are a few pics from this year - so far. Steve
