Walt to those who know him! ;)

Happy Birthday! Here's good buddy Walt (SwFly) with a nice birthday present! He's told me the story of a spring day on the Shrewsbury River with a charter boat...they had put in a lot of hours with no fish :( The capt then told Walt he had a "spot" in mind where they'd likely score before they wrapped up for the day. Well, they did! Walt tells me they caught a good number of nice fish on live herring in very short order, saving the day, and wishing Walt a happy birthday all in one spot! Happy Birthday Walt, nice fish! :)

Here's good friend SwFly, a.k.a. Walt with a guest of honor he met while on vacation...I'm thinking in VA is my memory serves me right! Hey Walt, that look a lot like a fly rod behind you there!?! Good for you. Walt also caught a great bass first thing this spring. While poking around at the Hook VERY early, Walt landed and released a 38" bass on a fly rod...his first on the new rod, nice way to break a rod in!
