Newest member to our surf fishing club, Phil here with some nice fish. Phil fishes like an animal, nothing short of it. He's been known to put 400 miles on in a single outing, not stopping even for food or sleep...such people are rewarded with slobs. Top left is a 43 pound bass taken on a needlefish this past June, a nice fat fish for sure! And a great fish on an artificial. Above is Phil with a pair, 40 inches and 34 inches, nice fish. To the lower left is a 32 pound guest of honor, taken likely on a live eel...I guessed that as that is Phil's preferred big fish bait...not a bad bait, some heavy fish eat them things every year! Below is a 41" fish...I'm gonna guess, same place, same food! Phil is like me in that he haunts the nights, not much daytime fishing can equal the slobs that you can find when you are willing to fish, as Phil calls it, "The Graveyard Shift." Nice fish Phil and welcome to the club!
