This is a shot I took last fall of the Hueth brothers on a beautiful morning in October in Ortley Beach..what an awesome sight that sunrise can be.....

Another shot from the same morning, this time just one of the brothers. Some mornings you just wish could last forever, there's nothing more calming than the deep orange glow creeping into the darkness with 2 foot waves keeping rhythm.....perfect.

This picture is a bit sadder than the ones above, this was the day I got to say good-bye to the jetty where I took my biggest bass to date, a 44 pounder. What a sad thing it was to see buried all the places where my fondest memories of striper fishing took place....thank God for new memories, but I will never forget those places that are now gone. I can't think of a bigger waste of money and destruction of habitat that this beach restoration crap, it's just throwing sand into an ocean already full of sand, all they are doing is burying all the life and structure, the sand will go away, the life may come back, and all we'll have done is pissed away many millions of dollars and destroyed all the habitat that made the Jersey shore the striper hot spot that it was before this debacle.
