Our club has been invited to fish in the following tournaments. Unless noted, all tournaments will begin on Friday at 12:01am and end at 12:00pm Sunday. All fish must be weighed in prior to noon on Sunday. Please use the club weigh-in slips when you are weighing fish in any of the tournaments, they are important in that they help us keep track of the fish weighed in for the club. **Please note, there is a 2 fish per day minimum. Also, at some point soon, to keep a second fish over 28" inches will require a valid Bonus Fish card to be filled out in order to maintain compliance with the changing laws. At the moment, this is not a law, but it should be any day now. I applaud all the clubs for not killing the 24" for these tournaments that the law will soon encourage us to do, kudos to all in the decision making processes here! The only thing I'd like better is to see all the clubs have at least a 30" minimum....32" even better, but since many have changed to 30" or 32", the 30" minimum looks like a good starting place!
The results of each tournament, including biggest fish will be posted here as well...assuming someone from the hosting club or our club gets me the information!

The scores were SRSA: 371 ; Asbury Park: 310...again, no info on the other places was made available to me, but I will post it when/if I get it! Good start for us guys, let's keep it rollin'!
Steven's Tournament (10/13) - We placed second in this tournament to Asbury Park. No other details were available.
Spring Lake's Tournament (10/20) - We won this one! I'm not sure who came in second and third...but I'm told we won this one anyway! ;-)
Asbury's Tournament (10/27) - We finished 3rd in Asbury's tournament...Berkley took first place and Asbury took second. We'll get 'em next time!
Berkley's Tournament (11/3) - We got 'em this time! ;-) Yessir, first place for the Shark River Surf Anglers....from what I hear Asbury placed second with the host club taking third place. From what the fellas tell me, we are leading overall for the year and could technically take first place overall! Just 3 more tournaments to go...so if yer in the club, get out there and let's lock this up with the next tournament or two..that way we can relax on our Thanksgiving tournament ;-)
